Handmade Holiday Open House

I had an open house this past weekend and although it was alot of work and planning, it really was a fun little venture that I may repeat next year. My friend Meg of Magpie Skinnies, my sis in law Judy of Glazedearth and her friend got together and threw a "party" of sorts. We had libations and food and plenty to oggle and buy. I ended up buying alot myself!

Christmas Cards

Sending Christmas cards the old fashioned way is something I rarely do anymore and its really kind of sad. I've noticed some really cute handmade cards on Etsy lately and I think maybe its time to resurrect the lost art of snail mail cards. Maybe I'll even include one of those long winded enclosures telling all about what my family has been up to during the past year. Nah? Oh wait, thats what my blog is for. Maybe I'll just send the card.
